To open an attachment in Microsoft Word iWorks

OA Apple Mac suite is called iWork.

Apple iWork is the functional equivalent of Microsoft Office, but is called a spreadsheet application available for Mac OS x. IWork named page word processing, the number and contains the keynote presentation tool. This is the equivalent of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A document that was saved in its native iWork format cannot be opened in Microsoft Word, but there are ways to convert a document to Word native format for pages. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

You need: access to a Mac things

    Check the full name of the attached document.

One can say that it is an iWork attachment if the extension is "Pages", "Number" or "Key". Any other name and you are to do with an iWork attachment.

    Please export the sender to the file as a Microsoft Word document.

  • Pages offer the opportunity to export a Word document to ask the sender of the original attachment save it in a format you can read.

    Download and install the trial version of iWork.

  • Apple offers a 30 days trial iWork October 2010. If you have access to a Mac, install iWork and read, or export the document from here. If you have a Mac computer, questions you help of a friend or a family member.
