Understanding ActiveX controls in a document MS Word using VBA

ActiveX controls are the code that developers create once and were then reusable for developers, programs, service providers and other ActiveX controls.

VBA is a programming whose foundation based on this framework and makes heavy use of ActiveX controls to extend the functionality of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word language.    Open Microsoft Word.

Go to "Tools" and "Macro", and then click "Visual Basic".

This will open the VBA programming environment.

This creates a new form of the user and opens the dialog window "Toolbox".

The "Toolbox" dialog box, click ActiveX controls, and draw on the "user form."
